On 13 December 2025, an appreciation ceremony for the writers J. Ajithan and Jeyamohan was arranged in Halifax on behalf of the Northern Tamils Association of Britain, alongside a literary introduction to their work.
The Northern Tamils Association is a cultural organisation approaching its fiftieth anniversary. The evening came about through the initiative of Dr Arutchelvan, one of its active members and a long-standing reader of Ajithan’s fiction.

2025 டிசம்பர் 13 அன்று, பிரிட்டன் வட தமிழர் சங்கம் சார்பாக ஹாலிஃபாக்ஸ் நகரில் எழுத்தாளர்கள் ஜெ. அஜிதன், ஜெயமோகன் ஆகியோருக்குப் பாராட்டு விழா ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டது; அவர்களது படைப்புகள் குறித்த இலக்கிய அறிமுகமும் இடம்பெற்றது.
வட தமிழர் சங்கம் ஒரு பண்பாட்டு அமைப்பு; தனது ஐம்பதாம் ஆண்டு நிறைவை நோக்கிச் சென்றுகொண்டிருக்கிறது. அதன் சுறுசுறுப்பான உறுப்பினரும், அஜிதனின் கதைகளை நெடுங்காலமாக வாசித்து வருபவருமான முனைவர் அருட்செல்வனின் முயற்சியால் இந்நிகழ்வு நடைபெற்றது.
